Dwyane Wade scored 36 points as the Miami Heat won 95-92 tonight at Dallas to claim their first National Basketball Association championship. Wade was named NBA Finals MVP after leading the Heat to their fourth consecutive win following two losses opening the series. It was the fourth NBA title for center Shaquille O’Neal, who had 12 rebounds in the Game 6 victory. Dirk Nowitzski had 29 points and 15 rebounds in defeat.
