Suck Creek Road was closed today afternoon for more than five hours after a grocery delivery truck crashed, according to Hamilton County Emergency Services spokeswoman Amy Maxwell.
The crash occurred about 1 p.m. when a Bi-Lo truck went off the roadway at 2524 Suck Creek Road, spilling fuel and groceries across the pavement, Ms. Maxwell said.
The truck’s driver sustained minor injuries, she said.
The road was closed while a team from Marion Environmental cleaned up 20-30 gallons of spilled diesel fuel, Ms. Maxwell said.
