Myspace is previewing Johnny Cash’s new album “American V: A Hundred Highways.” The album comes out on July 4 and it is a collection of the final songs Mr. Cash wrote with Rick Rubin producing.
The songs will make your heart stop. It’s one of the most powerful albums I’ve ever heard, a firm testament to Mr. Cash’s character and beliefs.
Said Rubin: “These songs are Johnny's final statement. They are the truest reflection of the music that was central to his life at the time. This is the music that Johnny wanted us to hear.”
