The Imax film, Deep Sea 3D, debuts today in Chattanooga, New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, Atlanta, Dallas and other Imax theaters nationwide, as well as in Japan and the United Kingdom.
The 3D glasses worn during the movie will allow an up-close-and-personal swim with some of the largest of the sea creatures: squids, sharks, groupers, octopus and even a right whale.
Daily showings are at 11 a.m., noon, 2 p.m., 3 p.m., 5 p.m., 6 p.m. (Additional showings at 8 and 9 p.m. every Friday and Saturday.) Admission: $7.95 adults, $5.50 children 3-12. Combo IMAX-Aquarium tickets: $22.95 adults, $13.50 (children 3-12).
