Many of the e-mails I get pertain to buying choices for hardware and software. Based on your questions I plan to do several columns in the future on how to buy in several categories, so thanks for your input and suggestions-they make this boat float.
Mac users, bewareheres another security threat for us to watch. Since the switch to Intel Macs are getting more negative attention from hackers, although the threats may affect all Macs. The days of taking security for granted on the Mac will soon be over, I believe.
By September we should see devices using the new Wireless USB standard. As you probably know, USB 2.0 is the current standard along with Firewire for fast connection of devices to the PC and Mac. Wireless USB uses the USB 2.0 standard and will replace wires with tiny radios for communication between the computer and the devices. This is one more step in the direction of eliminating wires to the PC. Ill have a future column dedicated to wireless and networking devices.
Finally heres a link to an article on restoring and archiving old photos Thanks for reading and Ill see you soon.
