It’s Mother’s Day weekend, and the podcast makes a great, and cheap, last minute gift. She’ll thank you later. This week we’ve got an interview with and new music from Justin Karpinos, a fine young man who I’m sure will remember to call his mother this weekend. His new album, “Flyover,” drops soon, but you can hear the first song here first.
And yeah, I’ll probably use that same pun again on Father’s Day.
Extra credit with John Burke of The Loft, who plays tonight at Rhythm & Brews, on rock music in Nashville: “Everybody loves the Kings of Leon. I’m not sure if they’re a real band, but they’re getting lots of attention.”
