Three local young women have been chosen state finalists in the National American Miss Tennessee pageant to be held July 6-9 in Franklin, Tenn., at the Marriott Cool Springs hotel.
Piper Brantley, 5, is the daughter of Wayne and Regina Brantley. She is competing in the age 4-6 division. Her hobbies include ballet, reading and golf.
Miata Nation, 12, is the daughter of Alan and Tecole Nation. She will compete in the age 10-12 division. Her interests include volleyball, tennis, basketball, track, modeling, acting and dancing.
Alicia Hudson, 18, is the daughter of Sylvia Manghane. She will compete in the age 6-18 age division.
Miss Hudson is a student at Middle Tennessee State University whose interests include reading, writing, photography and volunteering.
