Barry Bonds' record-setting home run this month has broadened the debate over steroid regulations from professional players in San Francisco to prep players in the Tennessee Valley. Two of the South's most fervent football states -- Florida and Texas -- are launching programs this fall to drug test some high school athletes to discourage steroid use. In Tennessee and Georgia leave such decisions up to local schools and, in many circumstances, individual coaches.
