KNOXVILLE -- The University of Tennessee's home football game with Vanderbilt next week will not be on network television, according to athletic department officials.
Officials said UT is working on a pay-per-view deal for the Senior Day game, which will likely kick off in the early afternoon.
CBS chose to air LSU-Ole Miss for its 3:30 p.m. broadcast next week, and Lincoln Financial chose Georgia-Kentucky for its 12:30 broadcast. The ESPN family of networks will not air an SEC game next week.
If the Vols defeat Arkansas on Saturday, they will simply have to defeat Vanderbilt and Kentucky to win the SEC East and play in the league's Dec. 2 championship game.
Tennessee's SEC game at Mississippi State on Oct. 13 was televised on a pay-per-view basis, as were the Vols' out-of-conference games with Arkansas State and Southern Miss in December.
