Video: Competing for cable customers

Stacey Briggs, president of Tennessee Cable Telecommunications Association, said at a Times Free Press editorial board meeting Tuesday that Comcast’s nationwide subscriber rates could stabilize lower cable TV rates in Chattanooga if EPB is allowed to compete for customers here. In an editorial board meeting last month, Harold DePriest, president of EPB, said the utility's rates will be lower than Comcast’s because of discounts for other services.
