Lawyers for a Hixson man conceded that Steven Tyler Frizzell violated his bond conditions by purchasing beer days after being released from jail.

Mr. Frizzell, 21, of 808 Ellen Road, is charged with vehicular homicide, drunken driving and two counts of aggravated assault in the May 28 accident that killed 72-year-old Robert Frizzell and injured Joann Frizzell and Ruby Arnold.

Court officials said the defendant and the victims are not related, but they have been friends for several years.

Criminal Court Judge Don Poole today revoked Mr. Frizzell’s $75,000 bond and ordered that he be held in the Silverdale Detention Center.

Mr. Frizzell is scheduled to return to court Oct. 24, officials said.
