by Ryan Harris

A suspected bank robber wanted in connection with six hold-ups including heists in East Ridge, Fort Oglethorpe and Dalton, Ga., was arrested this weekend in Chatsworth, Ga., Police Chief Terry Martin said today.

Brian Scott Terry, 31, was arrested at his Chatsworth home Saturday and is being held without bond in the Murray County jail, records show.

The latest holdup in which he is a suspect was the Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union robbery in Fort Oglethorpe last Monday, according to the Dalton department’s

He is also suspected in the BB&T bank robbery on Walnut Avenue in Dalton on Feb. 27, and an East Ridge SunTrust branch was held up the day after, according to the Dalton Police Department’s online blog.

Mr. Terry is also being investigated in connection with two Chatsworth bank robberies, and another in Calhoun, Ga., according to Chief Martin. He was unsure when those heists occurred.

Chief Martin said the suspect wore a hat or hooded sweatshirt in each robbery, and handed bank employees a note that demanded $50 and $100 bills. The suspect did not have a weapon in any of the robberies, the chief said.
