The Melinda Kingsley Band in Studio ’99

An all-female southern rock band? Yep, you kind of have to see it to believe it, but Atlanta’s Melinda Kingsley band is turning heads with their soulful, southern sound. Fronted by lead guitarist and songwriter Melinda Kingsley, the band is just beginning to explore their musical side. In fact, many of the band members have only been playing their instruments for a few years. On the MUSICcast we’ll hear a stripped down version of a song called “Connie Row” and the band will talk about the challenges and rewards of pursuing a dream.
