Norville Industries names pair to team
Lisa Willard has become marketing and service manager for Dalton, Ga.-based Norville Industries Inc.
Additionally, the firm said Pamela Brady-Proesch, formerly director of merchandising for Jackson Furniture/ Catnapper Industries in Cleveland, Tenn., has become a member of the sales team that focuses on Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina.
Norville is a family-owned corporation that’s been in business since 1956. It serves the carpet and textiles industry, stocking products, including thread, packaging materials, plastics and stretch films, and janitorial supplies
Architects honor 3 Chattanoogans
The Chattanooga-based architectural firm of Hefferlin + Kronenberg Architects PLLC has received a design award of excellence from the Tennessee Society of the American Institute of Architects.
The recognition came for the firm’s design of the new Renaissance Park Outdoor Pavilion that was done in conjunction with Eskew + Dumez + Ripple, New Orleans. Heidi Hefferlin is president and a founding partner at the Chattanooga firm.
Additionally, David Hudson of Chattanooga-based Artech Design received a Presidential Award of Merit for Distinguished Service for his leadership with efforts to celebrate the institute’s 150th anniversary.
It was also announced that Linda Allen of Unum, who is serving a one-year term as president of AIA Tennessee, was presented the group’s Leadership Award for her leadership, vision and ability.
AIA Tennessee is a statewide professional association of 1,300 members that includes architects, associates and allied members in Tennessee.
Craig-Lindeman is Cornerstone VP
Charlotte Craig-Lindeman has been named vice president of marketing for
Cornerstone Community Bank.
She is a 22-year veteran of the marketing and public relations field and is a graduate of
Rhodes College in Memphis.
She is married with three children and lives on Lookout Mountain.
Dondero joins Gencore board
Cort J. Dondero has been named to the board of directors of Gencore Industries.
He is the founder of Chattanooga-based Dondero & Associates, a strategic management consulting firm that has serviced Fortune 500 clients throughout North America.
Gencore is a diversified heavy machinery manufacturer for the production of highway construction materials, synthetic fuels and environmental control machinery and equipment used in a variety of applications.
Three area CPAs lead committees
The Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants has named three Chattanooga-area CPAs to chair statewide committees.
John D. Houston, of Sale Creek, an individual practitioner, will chair the federal taxation committee.
Casey M. Stuart, of Signal Mountain, managing partner of Hazlett, Lewis & Bieter PLLC, will chair the finance committee for a second year.
William H. Taylor II, of Chattanooga, a principal with Physician Practice Resources, will chair the health care conference committee for a second year.
The society is a state professional organization for CPAs living and practicing primarily in Tennessee.
Laurent New VP at Cornerstone
Betsy Laurent has joined Cornerstone Community Bank as vice president of internal audit.
She attended Indiana University and moved to Chattanooga in 1987.
She worked in retail management for several years before entering the banking business. She is married and lives in Chattanooga.
