Chattanooga: Brabson House open for lease

The historic Brabson-Loveman’s House is for lease.

There are 4,966 square feet of office space for lease. The house, built in 1856, is at 407 E. Fifth St. off Georgia Avenue. A 4,500-square-foot carriage house is also for lease. J. Bryan Rudisill of NAI Charter is the listing agent.

Bob Bullard’s Vincit Group used the house for its headquarters before moving to the new Brabson Place building behind.

The house, on the National Register of Historic Places, was used as a headquarters by both armies in the Civil War. D.B. Loveman, owner of the department store of the same name, owned the Brabson home in the early 1900s, Mr. Bullard said.
