Chattanooga: STARS 3, LOOKOUTS 1

Friday’s recap: Angel Salome’s three-run home run to right off Pedro Viola with one out in the first inning held up for Huntsville, which clinched the series and improved to 26-28 in the Southern League’s second half. Chattanooga pulled within 3-1 in the second inning when Tonys Gutierrez homered to right, and that was the last run either team would produce. The Lookouts dropped to 22-32 with 16 games remaining in the season.

Next game: Game five of a five-game series in Huntsville is tonight at 8:05 EDT.

Pitchers: Camilo Vazquez (2-2, 4.91 ERA) is scheduled to start for the Lookouts, with Alex Periard (1-2, 6.05) scheduled for the Stars.
