Martin opens Archer Physical Therapy
Physical therapist Debra Martin has announced the opening of Archer Physical Therapy at 4700 Battlefield Parkway in Ringgold.
The new clinic specializes in the treatment of selling and lymphedema, according to Ms. Martin.
Ms. Martin has 14 years of experience with the past six years as a certified lymphedema therapist.
Walters leads unit of Cornerstone
Paul Walters has become president of Eagle Financial Inc., a commercial finance company and subsidiary of Cornerstone Community Bank.
His professional experience includes 38 years in sales and senior management positions in the financial, franchise and manufacturing industries.
He and his wife, Sharon, live in Hixson and attend Brainerd Presbyterian Church, where he serves as a deacon.
State group honors pharmacist Giles
Robert “Ned” Giles, Jr., a local pharmacist, has been presented the Barbara McAndrew Herald Award by the Tennessee Pharmacists Association. The award is given to a person who has promoted the pharmacy profession.
The honoree works at BlueCross and BlueShield of Tennessee, where he oversees various drug formularies and chairs the pharmacy and therapeutics committee as well as oversees the insurer’s Medicare Part D drug and the health plan’s specialty pharmacy programs.
Dr. Giles grew up in LaFayette, Ga., and received a biology degree from the University of Chattanooga and his pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia.
He and his wife, Patti ,have two grown daughters and live in Chattanooga.
ShoreTel honors Chattanooga firm
Communications Resources Inc., a Chattanooga-based communications infrastructure specialist, has won the 2008 ShoreTel Circle of Excellence Award. The recognition takes note of CRI as being one of the the top ShoreTel channel partners.
CRI serves Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama and plans to open another office in Mobile, Ala.
