A shooting in Rocky Face, Ga., Tuesday night has left one man dead, according to the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Department.

The victim was identified as 59-year-old Danny Witt.

An officer with the criminal investigation division said the shooting occurred on Lamory Lane in Rocky Face around 10:30 p.m.

The investigation is continuing and authorities are questioning a suspect.
