MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Ooltewah junior defensive lineman Jacques Smith and South Pittsburg senior running back David Jones were named Tennessee Titans Mr. Football award winners Monday.
Smith was named Class 5A Lineman of the Year and was the first from the Owls program to win the award. Jones became the first Back of the Year award winner for the Pirates program, taking the Class 1A award.
Rhea County’s Kevin Revis and Josh Davis were finalists in Class 4A for lineman and kicker of the year, respectively, but did not win the awards.
