The number of senior citizens in Tennessee and Georgia is projected to nearly double in the next two decades. Senior citizens will comprise about one of every five persons by 2025. Both states are stepping up to lure even more seniors as Florida, the fastest growing state in the past generation, loses some of its retiree luster with higher real estate and insurance costs.
