The Chattanooga-Hamilton County Regional Planning Commission today approved a residential development on Stringer's Ridge with height restrictions.
The measure approved calls for condo buildings in the first phase of development being no higher than three stories above ground. Developers had requested six stories above ground, and had initially sought 504 condos and townhomes on 98 acres of property.
The planning commission also called for the developers to meet with area residents before the proposal goes for final consideration by the Chattanooga City Council next month.
