State revenues fell another $51 million below projections for December, increasing the state's general fund shortfall to $186.2 million for the fiscal year, finance commissioner Dave Goetz announced this morning.
The two main business taxes, the franchise and excise taxes, combined were $35.8 million below the budgeted estimate.
Sales taxes were $5.1 million less than the December estimate.
