Chattanooga police have arrested a man in connection with the early morning shooting death of 47-year-old Willie McClure, according to police spokesman Sgt. Rick Mincy.
Paul Bell, 59, has been taken to the Hamilton County Jail on a criminal homicide charge, Sgt. Mincy said.
Mr. Bell is accused of shooting Mr. McClure early this morning at the 1839 Heaton St. home of a woman both men were dating, said Lt. Tim Carroll, head of the police department's major crimes division. The two had been arguing over the woman when the shooting occurred, Lt. Carroll said.
