Hamilton County: Suspect in car-wash thefts connected to others, police say

A man wanted by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department for a car wash theft has been linked to several other thefts.

Officials are searching for Curtis Jacob Renfro of 3075 Huffs Ferry Road in Loudon, Tenn., in connection with thefts that occurred at the Highway 58 Super Wash on March 11 and resulted in a loss of $80 in quarters from a chain machine. He’s also wanted in connection with another theft at the Neighborhood Car Wash on North Joiner Road.

During the investigation, detectives shared information with other law enforcement agencies and identified Mr. Renfro as a suspect.

Mr. Renfro has been a suspect in thefts in Bradley County; Athens, Tenn.; Blount County, Tenn.; and Cobb County, Ga., and is wanted on 10 counts of theft under $500.
