CLEVELAND, Tenn. — Bob Taylor has been named the Southeast Tennessee region’s school superintendent of the year.
The announcement was made Thursday evening by Bradley County Board of Education Chairman David Kelley during the last board meeting Mr. Taylor attended as the county’s director of schools.
He is retiring as of June 30. School board members recently chose Johnny McDaniel to succeed him.
Mr. Taylor took over as superintendent eight years ago, the first school superintendent appointed by the Bradley County Board of Education.
