Red Bank: The Chamber will meet at noon Tuesday at the new China Buffet and Grill, 531 Signal Mountain Road, Suite 129. The speaker will be Red Bank Council President George Vieth. The cost of lunch is $10.

Ooltewah/Collegedale: The Chamber will meet at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Collegedale City Hall, 4910 Swinyar Drive. The speaker will be Ronald Harris Sr., manager for workforce diversity at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee.

Hixson: The Chamber will meet at noon Wednesday at the North River Civic Center, 1009 Executive Drive. The speaker will be Bill Galloway of Alexian Brothers. The cost of lunch is $10.

Soddy Daisy/North Hamilton County: The Chamber will meet at noon Thursday at Soddy Daisy City Hall, 9835 Dayton Pike. The cost of lunch is $10.

Seminars, meetings

Business Finance Seminar: A free seminar on financing your business the Small Business Administration way will be held Wednesday at the Tennessee Small Business Development Center, 100 Cherokee Blvd. from 10:30 a.m. to noon. The seminar will cover SBA loan options, interest rates and repayment terms. For more information call 756-8668.

Business Planning: The Tennessee Small Business Development Center, 1000 Cherokee Blvd., will host a basic business planning session from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will cover financial projections and legal entity. Participants will receive an information packet containing phone numbers and addresses for information about business licenses and taxes and other start-up materials. Doing Business with Nonprofits Seminar: The Chamber will host a panel discussion from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Friday in the Chamber boardroom on the needs of nonprofits and how businesses can become vendors to nonprofits. Panelists include Julie Baumgardner of First Things First, Linda Rath of Moccasin Bend Girl Scout Council, Sandra Hollet of Partnership for Families, Children and Adults and Myron Wilkins of Bethel Bible Village.
