Hamilton County officials are searching for hikers lost at the top of Retro-Hughes Road on Bakewell Mountain.
The Special Tactics and Rescue Services and the county’s emergency services are attempting to locate the hikers and have made cell phone contact with one of them, said Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Janice Atkinson.
The number of hikers is not available.
