Chamber events

Get Plugged In: New members of the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce will learn about chamber services and programs Tuesday from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at the Chamber Board Room.

North Chattanooga Chamber: The Chamber will meet Tuesday at 11:45 a.m. at the Chattanooga Theatre Center, 400 River St.. The cost of lunch is $10.

Get a Job: The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce is looking for volunteers this week for its career readiness program at local high schools. For information, call 763-4321.

Downtown Chamber: The Chamber will meet Thursday at 7:30 a.m. at the Sheraton Read House, 827 Board St. The cost of breakfast is $10.

Southside Chamber: The Chamber will meet Thursday at noon at the South Chattanooga Recreation Center, 1151 W. 40th St. The cost of lunch is $10.

Seminars, meetings

AM Networking: The meeting will be held Wednesday from 8 to 9 a.m. at Northwest Georgia Bank, 1959 Northpoint Blvd.

Business Planning Session: The Tennessee Small Business Development Center will be holding a session Thursday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. For more information call 756-8668.

Business Advice: Free business help available from members of the Service Corps of Retired Executives from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Monday through Friday at the Franklin Building, Suite 515, 5726 Marlin Road, at Eastgate Town Center. For more information, call 553-1722.

Business Planning: Free counseling for businesspeople available from the Chattanooga Small Business Development Center, 100 Cherokee Blvd., Suite 202. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Fridays. Call 756-8668 for more information.
