Tennessee tops Kentucky, 63-60

The Tennessee Vols ended their first week as the No. 1-ranked men’s basketball team in the country with a 63-60 win over Kentucky in Knoxville.

Tennessee extended its home-court winning streak to 31 games with the win, which was not decided until a late 3-pointer from Kentucky rattled off the rim in the final seconds.

The Vols, who lost earlier this week at Vanderbilt, will likely lose their No. 1-ranking when the new polls are released Monday.
