The Catoosa County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the death of 16-year-old Timothy Lebron Smith, officials said today.
Sheriff Phil Summers said the teen’s death was reported Saturday.
He said the youth had spent Friday night at a friend’s house, and that Saturday morning, the family discovered the boy was dead.
Sheriff Summers said that foul play is not suspected.
An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of death, Sheriff Summers said in a news release. He said his office is conducting interviews, as well.
