Vols fall to fourth in men’s hoops poll

The University of Tennessee men’s basketball team’s stay atop the college basketball was brief.

The Vols, who ascended to the top spot in the AP poll for the first time in program history, were ranked fourth this week after a three-point loss at Vanderbilt last Tuesday. The Vols received one first-place vote.

North Carolina is this week’s new No. 1, followed by Memphis and UCLA. Kansas rounds out the top five.
