Some people find that navigating the food section can be a little hard. So, let me take you on a tour. For starters, there’s Fare Exchange written by freelancer Jane Henegar. It’s a highly popular column with readers’ requests for recipes as well as readers’ answers. All you need do to request or answer is write or e-mail Jane and it will appear in a future column within a week or two. There’s also a box included each week somewhere near the end of her column with all her contact information — address and e-mail. Many people send them to me, and I certainly don’t mind forwarding things on to her, but if you follow the instructions in the box, it will go directly to her and get your requests/answers there more quickly.
Now, on to another problem a few readers have been having. Most all of our recipes are printed in the same format, with the ingredients listed followed by the instructions. Simple. But, the Cheap Thrills Cuisine cartoon is a little different. The ingredients are listed with each step of instructions. So, my advice is to read through the cartoon first, writing down every ingredient you read along the way. Take things step by step and you shouldn’t have any problems.
Now, let’s go online. The food section falls under the Life section which falls under the entertainment section. That’s simple enough. The more difficult part comes when you have to scroll through all the Life stories to find the food stories as well as Side Orders. Just look for headlines that have something to do with food and you’re there.
I would imagine, though, that if you’re reading this blog, you’re pretty efficient at navigating your way through our Web site. Let me know if you have any problems. You won’t be the first.
