Man arrested, charged in wife’s death

Chattanooga police have arrested 23-year-old Kenneth Gann in connection with his wife’s Sunday morning death, according to police spokeswoman Lt. Kim Noorbergen.

Mr. Gann is charged with criminal homicide in the strangulation death of his estranged wife, 25-year-old Robyn Gann, at 3811 Forest Highland Drive.

Investigators obtained a warrant against Mr. Gann earlier this week, but they were awaiting his discharge from Memorial North Park Hospital and the completion of a mental examination before taking him into custody.

He is being held at the Hamilton County Jail, Lt. Noorbergen said.
