Richt gets raise to $2.8 million

University of Georgia head football coach Mark Richt, who led the Bulldogs to a No. 2 final national ranking in 2007, was awarded a raise today in action approved by the UGA Athletic Association board of directors executive committee during a called meeting. The raise improves his annual compensation from a little over $2 million to $2.8 million per year.
