A Chattanooga Police Department officer was arrested just after midnight Friday on a driving under the influence charge, authorities said.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol officer arrested Officer Mike Early at Interstate 75 and Bonny Oaks and charged him with DUI, according to Lt. Kim Noorbergen, public information officer for the police department.
Officer Early has been placed on administrative leave pending the investigation by the TN Highway Patrol Office and police department Internal Affairs Division, she said.
