Hubbard identified as homicide victim

Homicide investigators on Saturday afternoon released the name of a man found dead Friday night inside a house in East Lake, according to Lt. Kim Noorbergen of the Chattanooga Police Department.

Officers called to check on the well being of a man living at 2609 14th Ave. became suspicious upon arrival and entered the home to find Cedrick L Hubbard 32, dead, the lieutenant said.

The cause of death remains under investigation, she said.
