Downtown tour tickets available
Tickets are available for the Chattanooga Downtown Partnership’s 2008 Tour of Downtown Living to be held March 30.
Beginning at 1 p.m., nine residential properties will be open to tour participants. Ticket holders may travel throughout downtown via shuttle or at their own pace. The properties are: Palmetto 8 Townhomes; Lofts on Main; 1900 Cowart; 17th and Long; Stanton Row Townhomes; Loveman’s on Market; and single-family dwellings in the MLK Neighborhood and on Fourth Street.
Shuttle tour tickets are $18 and must be purchased in advance. Shuttle tickets for children 10 and under are $12. Tickets may be purchased at downtown chattanooga.org or by calling 265-0771.
Investor workshop offered Monday
Real Estate U on Monday will hold a free real estate investor financial case study workshop.
The workshop, at 6 p.m., will feature Derek Berry, a national investment mortgage specialist. The case study will show how the right financing and strategies can produce cash flow and appreciation.
The workshop will be held at 419 N. Market St. Call 693-2065 because space is limited. Snacks and refreshments will be served.
Hixson Bi-Lo site placed up for sale
The Bi-Lo at 5414 Hixson Pike is for sale at $2.95 million.
The store will relocate at the end of the year to the site of a Super Bi-Lo that’s under construction. The 3.83-acre site is on a section of Hixson Pike with an average daily traffic count of about 30,000 cars per day. The building is more than 38,600 square feet large. Robert Fisher of ReMax Renaissance Realtors is the listing agent.
Mortgage group meets March 20
The Chattanooga Mortgage Bankers Association is holding its monthly meeting March 20.
