Police are searching for a man in connection with a shooting this afternoon in an East Chattanooga neighborhood.
Chattanooga Police Department spokeswoman Lt. Kim Noorbergen said two men began verbally fighting shortly after 3 p.m. in between the 1900 and 2200 blocks of Jackson Street. One man pulled out a gun and shot the other man, who sustained injuries to his leg.
The victim went to Erlanger hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Lt. Noorbergen said.
