Aortic aneurysm
-- A screening that detects bulges in artery walls is scheduled March 17 through 21 at Memorial Hospital, Memorial North Park or Memorial Atrium Imaging Centers. Eligible for the free tests are people 65 and older who have no previous diagnosis of abdominal aortic aneurysm and who have not had an abdominal CT scan in the past five years. Cancer

Diabetes
-- Two diabetes self-management programs are scheduled by Memorial Hospital. Each is a two-part session that requires physician’s approval, which can be arranged by calling the registration number, 495-7970. Times and places are 12:45 p.m. March 18 and 25 at Memorial’s Home Health Office and from 4 to 8 p.m. March 20 and 27 at Chattanooga Heart Institute on Memorial’s campus. Registration is required, and there is a class fee.
