Boyer among top 100 in GMAC

Teresa Boyer of Best Realty GMAC Real Estate recently received recognition from GMAC.

Ms. Boyer was named to the company’s top 100 sales associates for outstanding real estate performance in 2007, for closing 62 units. She received the award at the GMAC Home Services Annual Business Conference in Las Vegas.

“I’m honored to recognize Teresa Boyer as one of GMAC Real Estate’s leading sales associates,” said John Bearden, president and CEO of GMAC Home Services. “She has demonstrated that achieving this level of real estate sales requires a special blend of dedication, people skills, technical knowledge, hard work and determination.”

Best Realty, based in Dayton, Tenn., specializes in residential and commercial real estate services in Rhea, Hamilton and Meigs counties.

Pargeon heads fundraising effort

Brenda Pargeon of Crye-Leike Realtors has been selected to co-chair the company’s annual United Way fundraising campaign for 2008 for the Greater Chattanooga — East Tennessee Region.

Ms. Pargeon is an affiliate broker at the company’s East Brainerd office.

“The actual United Way campaign is only four weeks long in September, which is why we’re starting early so everyone understands how important and meaningful their individual contribution is to us,” said Pargeon.

Darnes gives 5% sales to charity

Donna Darnes of Crye-Leike Realtors is making charitable giving part of her business plan in 2008. Upon the sale of any property listed by Ms. Darnes, she will donate 5 percent of her net proceeds to the charity of the seller’s choice.

Ms. Darnes is based out of the company’s Ooltewah office.

“The donation will be submitted on the seller’s behalf,” she said. “This in turn will make them feel good that they can help when otherwise it might be more of a challenge to help out.”

Majors joins CAR leadership group

Mollie Majors of Crye-Leike Realtors has been selected for the Chattanooga Association of Realtors 2008 Leadership Conference. Ms. Majors is based in the company’s East Brainerd office.

“I am honored that my colleagues both at Crye-Leike and at CAR nominated me to participate in the two-day leadership seminar,” said Ms. Majors. “There were 14 nominees selected to participate from Chattanooga and North Georgia.”

Since 2004 Ms. Majors has been a licensed real estate sales associate in Tennessee and Georgia. She specializes in residential real estate with a focus on first-time homebuyers, relocation, foreclosure/investment properties and new home construction. She is a volunteer with the March of Dimes.

Kendrick leads new-home division

Tim Kendrick has been named executive director of sales for the new home division at Innovative Realty Group LLC.

Mr. Kendrick has been working with new home developers and builders since 2002 as well as helping sellers and buyers with their real estate needs. Along with his 15 years of construction knowledge, Mr. Kendrick is a multimillion dollar producer, circle of excellence member and has the e-Pro designation. New ReMax office wins recognition

ReMax Real Estate Center Plus, founded in June, was honored last week at the 2008 ReMax International Convention in Las Vegas.

The company was recognized for net gain in associates for metro market worldwide and in the United States. Melody Broome, Vickie Henderson, Mary McLean and Mary Ann Rogers achieved executive club status.
