Flynn promoted at Channel 3

Ralph Flynn has been promoted to the position of general sales manager of WRCB-TV, Channel 3.

He will share the general sales manager responsibilities with Doug Short, the station’s longtime general sales manager, who will retire in April 2009.

Mr. Flynn has been local sales manager at the NBC-affiliated station since 1991.

He began his career in television sales with WDEF-TV and has also held sales or sales management positions with Chattanooga’s WTVC-TV; WCTI-TV located in New Bern, N.C.; and Nashville television stations WTVF-TV and WZTV.

He and his wife, Susan, live in Chattanooga.

Holliday becomes partner in law firm

The Chattanooga law firm of Eric Buchanan & Associates PLLC has announced D. Seth Holliday has become a partner of the firm.

He primarily litigates longterm disability cases as well as Social Security disability claims, a news release said.

He is a graduate of Washington University School of Law and is a past president of the Chattanooga Trial Lawyers Association.

The Eric Buchanan law firm also said that three partners,

Eric L. Buchanan, Donna H. Green and R. Scott Wilson, have earned their certification as Social Security Disability specialists from the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization.

SealMaster opens in Chattanooga

SealMaster Pavement Products is opening in Chattanooga.

The firm is a manufacturer of pavement coatings with 23 plants, including one in Nashville.

The firm will distribute driveway and parking lot sealant along with tools that are used to do that work, officials said.

Alderman to direct PR at Life Care

Rob Alderman has been promoted to director of Life Care Centers of America’s public relations department. Mr. Alderman previously served as corporate and field relations coordinator of the PR department.

Mr. Alderman is a graduate of Lee University and has previously served as marketing director for Diversified Companies in Chattanooga.

He and his wife, April, live in Cleveland, Tenn., and have one son.

Life Care is a national health care company that is based in Cleveland. The firm operates more than 220 skilled nursing, Alzheimer’s and subacute centers in 28 states.

McAllister named general manager

Pam McAllister has been named by TAC Air to serve as general manager of its location at the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport.

She joined TAC Air in 2002 and has more than 20 years of aviation experience. She most recently served as customer service supervisor for the Chattanooga location.

TAC Air is a division of Truman Arnold Cos.

McKenzie receives LEED accreditation

Scott McKenzie has received his Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design

accreditation.

Mr. Mc-Kenzie serves as vice president of Marsh Adams & Associates, a firm with which he has been associated for 16 years.
