Chattanooga Housing Authority officials laid off two more employees this month after laying off 24 people Feb. 29, officials said.
The housing agency also advertised a job position this month after the layoffs but later pulled the ad saying that the job did not fit into its budget.
The position was for an accounts payable specialist, housing officials said.
Bill Lord, CHA’s chief information officer, said no more layoffs are expected in the immediate future. However, more jobs may come available through normal attrition if a current employee retires or voluntarily leaves the agency.
