DR. TONY LEACH, optometrist and owner of Epic Optical, introduced his company’s new Web site during a reception attended by nearly 175 people.
The event raised money for the Hope for Hilton Fund, an ongoing fundraising effort for Hilton Vogelmeier, a Chattanooga toddler diagnosed at 7 months old with optic nerve hypoplasia, a condition that causes underdevelopment of the optic nerve. The family is raising money so the child can receive stem cell treatment in China (www.hiltonjames.org).
Dr. Leach said he launched an updated Web site that is more “patient-centric. Patients will be able to schedule an appointment online, have automated voice confirmation, etc. I also will write a monthly e-newsletter about the latest technologies and FAQs.”
The Web site, designed by Kristopher Simmons, owner of Fire Eye Productions in Chattanooga, is a comprehensive, easy-to-navigate site, offering valuable time-saving services for Epic Optical patients, clients and newcomers.
Among those attending the reception were Ken and Ellen Hays, Linda Oxford, Terri Miles, Tom and Johanna Bartoo, Bill and Janet Horton, Dr. and Mrs. Robin Brady, Manny Rico, John Clark, David Hudson, Robert Brown, Tom and Peggy Orton, Bill and Janet Horton, Ray Ryan, Clay and Gina Crumbliss, Jason and Tracy Aronson and Jim and Ione Farrar.
