VIRGINIA WEBB’S “The Passion Flower Project” at In-Town Gallery opened with a large reception.
“Her photography exhibit involved a silent auction. Bids were posted on the front wall for four images of Ann Law’s courageous solution for healing from breast cancer, and a large color photo of passion flower blooms printed on wrapped canvas,” said In-Town spokeswoman Helen Burton.
“Members of the Chattanooga Affiliate of the Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization were on hand with informative literature and in support of this project,” she said.
The exhibit continues through March 31 at 26A Frazier Ave.
“Art patrons and members of Ann Law’s Barking Legs Theater mingled in the gallery to view the artwork and discuss the project,” Ms. Burton said
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the photos and the theater tickets was donated to Y-ME.
“This was a very special evening, a landmark event in the 34-year history of In-Town Gallery,” she said.
