Husky Burnette in Studio ’99

by Sean Phipps

This week for your listening pleasure we have an example of the “dirty blues” from local singer/songwriter Husky Burnette. He’s joined by his drummer Flannery o’ Goner, in this instance on playing the file cabinet in our studio. The two artists met online a few years ago and formed a friendship. Eventually, Husky began visiting Flannery in Ohio for the occasional jam session. Now the two musicians are taking their act to the road and if it’s anything like what they did in Studio ’99, listeners are in for a treat.
