Rutherford earns senior designation

Marti Rutherford, a broker with Coldwell Banker Pryor Realty, has earned the Senior Specialist designation. The training helps a Realtor better serve clients who are downsizing, retiring, purchasing a second home or selling their home. Seniors have emotional and financial needs that other sellers don’t have, Ms. Rutherford said.

Ms. Rutherford is licensed in Tennessee and Georgia. She also holds the GRI, ABR and e-Pro designations.

Prudential honors top agents, teams

The top Realtors of Prudential RealtyCenter were celebrated at a recent dinner event attended by more than 200 Realtors, staff and family members.

The top three associate teams honored were: The Lawrence Team, of the Signal Mountain branch office; The Cherie Welsh Team; from Cleveland, Tenn.; and the top team: Greg & Sue Shaw and Associates from the East Brainerd location.

Linda Moore of the Hixson office won the Rising Star Award.

The top three individual sales awards based on the dollar volume sold were: LaRay Gardner, Hixson, third place; Paula McDaniel, East Brainerd, second place; and Linda Brock, East Brainerd, first place for the company and the entire Chattanooga Association of Realtors, according to MLS statistics.

The average sales price of the firm’s transactions was more than $30,000 higher than the firm’s closest competitor, according to MLS statistics.

“Despite widespread word of a housing slowdown, many of our associates had their best year ever thanks to their professionalism and sheer hustle,” said owner Ben Kelly.
