Hamilton on Hunter grows: North unit adds almost 200 lots with five homes under construction

Hamilton on Hunter North has added nearly 200 lots, many of them with views, the developer says.

* Reaching the peak: Newly available lots are at the highest points in the subdivision, Jay Bell said, providing the best views. Some lots have views of Chickamauga Lake and Interstate 75 heading up White Oak Mountain, when the leaves are gone, he said.

* Scope: The current phase is Phase 14. Nearly 200 lots are ready to build on in the next two phases. The first 13 phases are on the south side of Hunter Road. The subdivision now has 1,393 platted lots, Jay Bell said, and additional land is available for future phases. About 75 lots per year are built on, Jay Bell said. Bell Development is one of four active builders in the subdivision.

* Other features: The north section will have a new entrance added within the next 18 months, assuming enough homes are sold, Jay Bell said. The subdivision is close to Highway 58, I-75 and the future Volkswagen plant, he said.
