Tennessee: Couple purchases Slatten Electrical

A Pikeville, Tenn., couple announced Wednesday they purchased a Sparta, Tenn.-based electrical motor service company and will look to expand the company into either Pikeville, Soddy-Daisy or Dunlap, Tenn.

Dennis and Kathy Mills announced they purchased Slatten Electrical Equipment. They own Mills Pump Service, a water pump and filter service and distribution company, and Sequatchie Valley Development Corp., a real estate development company.

According to Manta.com, Slatten formed in 1990 as an electrical and wiring equipment supply company and has three full-time employees. Officials declined to state the purchase price.
