Coming home to roost: Eagle’s Landing homes have decorating allowance, screened porches

    A furnished living room is part of the finished model home in the Eagles Landing subdivision on Thursday. The development, being overseen by Crye-Leike realtor Terry Chambers, features homes starting at $170,000.

Eagle’s Landing is a new subdivision with easy access to Hixson and Red Bank. Prices start at $170,000, and the homes come with screened porches.

* Location: On the Hixson-Red Bank line, off 4800 block of North Eldridge Road; between Hixson Pike, Highway 153 and Dayton Boulevard; zoned for Red Bank schools

* Prices: $170,000 to $210,000 for homes; lots are $40,000; model home is $189,900

* Status: 35 lots; one model home is built; two homes are under construction and two homes are starting construction soon
