Chattanooga Beer and Wrecker Board votes to revoke beer license of 2301 Club

The Chattanooga Beer and Wrecker Board unanimously voted today to revoke the beer license of the 2301 Club at 2301 Milne St.

Chattanooga police officers testified that the club has been the site of numerous violent incidents and drug deals since April of this year.

Club owner Charles Stearns and his attorney Bill Pemberton appeared before the board and said the officers were attributing neighborhood violence problems to the club.

The two have until 4 p.m. today to appeal the ruling in Chancery Court.
